This is an early model ratchet adapter (clutch adapter) that has fine teeth spline rotating around spring-loaded mechanics. It is an early model that measures 2.4 inches long， and a diameter of 1.5 inches. It has an antique Snap-On logo along with PAT. 1-30-23 factory markings. This piece was made between 1923 and 1926. As with all early Snap-On tools， it is 1/2" Drive. Condition Observations: Used adapter in working condition. The mechanics work well. The adapter spins around freely， and compresses / releases with strong spring action. There are some clear cosmetic imperfections from age including chrome pitting， surface rust， and scratches. I just wiped it down lightly. The drive ends looks good and functional. Please admire pictures.
