A caliper is a device used to measure the distance between two opposite sides of an object. Many types of calipers permit reading out a measurement on a ruled scale, a dial, or a digital display. But a caliper can be as simple as a compass with inward or outward-facing points. The tips of the caliper are adjusted to fit across the points to be measured and then the caliper is then removed and the distance read by measuring between the tips with a measuring tool, such as a ruler.
It is used in many fields such as mechanical, engineering, metal working, forestry, woodworking, science and medicine.

Caliper calibrator is designed to test calipers, dials, and electronic calipers. It consists of high-end cera measuring blocks permanently squeezed in a protective cast. It is also used to check height measuring devices

A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is a device that measures the geometry of physical objects by sensing discrete points on the surface of the object with a probe. Various types of probes are used in CMMs, including mechanical, optical, laser, and white light. Depending on the machine, the probe position may be manually controlled by an operator or it may be computer controlled. CMMs typically specify a probe's position in terms of its displacement from a reference position in a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system (i.e., with XYZ axes). In addition to moving the probe along the X, Y, and Z axes, many machines also allow the probe angle to be controlled to allow measurement of surfaces that would otherwise be unreachable.

Gauge blocks (also known as gage blocks, Johansson gauges, slip gauges, or Jo blocks) are a system for producing precision lengths. The individual gauge block is a metal or ceramic block that has been precision ground and lapped to a specific thickness. Gauge blocks come in sets of blocks with a range of standard lengths. In use, the blocks are stacked to make up a desired length.

A height gauge is a measuring device used for determining the height of objects, and for marking of items to be worked on.
These measuring tools are used in metalworking or metrology to either set or measure vertical distances; the pointer is sharpened to allow it to act as a scriber and assist in marking out work pieces.

Indicator are widely used in the mechanical industry, used to measure inversion, roundness, flatness, measure hole diameter ... with high accuracy, easy to use.

A Panme/ Micromter is a device incorporating a calibrated screw widely used for accurate measurement of components in mechanical engineering and machining as well as most mechanical trades, along with other metrological instruments such as dial, vernier, and digital calipers. Micrometers are usually, but not always, in the form of calipers (opposing ends joined by a frame). The spindle is a very accurately machined screw and the object to be measured is placed between the spindle and the anvil. The spindle is moved by turning the ratchet knob or thimble until the object to be measured is lightly touched by both the spindle and the anvil.

The PIN GAUGE is the pin shape according to fixed size precisely. The primary purpose of PIN GAUGE is to measure and inspect the diameter of samll holes; it also can be used as a test bar for geometric deviations measurements

A Thread ring/ Plug gauge is used to check the diameter and pitch (inside or outside) of products, after turning by using GO / NOGO connectors. At present, they are a widely used measuring device for manufacturing and mechanical engineering industry.

Steel ruler, tape ruler are 2 indispensable measuring devices in many fields. Easy to use for all subjects, large measuring range. Their disadvantage is not high accuracy.

A surface plate is a solid, flat plate used as the main horizontal reference plane for precision inspection, marking out (layout), and tooling setup. Surface plates are a common tool in the manufacturing industry and are often fitted with mounting points so that it can be an integrated structural element of a machine such as a coordinate-measuring machine, precision optical assembly, or other high precision scientific & industrial machine

Surface smoothness (roughness): is assessed through 2 criteria: Average deviation Ra and undulating height Rz +. Arithmetic mean deviation of Ra profile, measured in µm.The arithmetic mean of the absolute values of the profile (hi) within the standard length (L). Roughness meter will check and give Ra, Rz ... Calibration of roughness tester by comparison method, using standard samples to check equipment errors.

They are optical measuring tools (non-contact measurement).
Used to measure extremely small details or where measuring equipment such as CMM or other devices cannot be measured or the accuracy is not high. Machine can measure all 3 axes X, Y, Z.

An angle gauge is used to align the angle for many applications including vertical or horizontal. Instead of having to use it manually like a drop of water, the electronic type helps us solve problems faster.
